Travel Insurance for Georgia for Foreign Citizens — Any Nationality

If you are planning a trip to Georgia, you need a valid travel-medical insurance policy for your stay. This requirement comes from Government of Georgia Decree №602 and applies to visitors. The rule is the same whatever passport you hold.

Each policy gives a total cover limit of 30,000 GEL per traveller. This covers emergency medical care, hospitalization, medical evacuation, repatriation, and related costs during your stay in Georgia.

Pricing starts from €2.5 per day per traveller (about $2.9). Your final price depends on the length of your trip and the number of travellers you insure, because the policy must be valid for your full stay.

Cover applies per traveller, so each person on your order has their own 30,000 GEL limit rather than a shared pool.

Buying is quick because we only ask for what the policy needs. For each traveller you provide four details: first and last name, date of birth, citizenship, and passport number.

Use the details exactly as they appear in each traveller's passport. The name, passport number, and citizenship on the policy should match the passport you will travel and enter Georgia with, so keep your documents to hand when you fill in the form.

Citizenship is one of the four fields, which is how the product accepts travellers of any nationality without separate forms. You enter your citizenship and continue the same way as everyone else.

You do not need a separate order for each person. You can insure multiple travellers together, for example a family or a travel group, in a single order.

Add each traveller with their own four details: name, date of birth, citizenship, and passport number. Travellers in the same order can hold different citizenships, which is useful for mixed-nationality families and groups.

Every traveller on the order gets their own policy with the full 30,000 GEL cover limit, and each person's policy PDF is issued under their own name and passport.
